Based on the 10 minute song ‘Innerbloom’ by Rufus du Sol, this triptych responds to the idea of  ‘visual sampling’ by mimicking the process of copy, transform and combine in music production.

Deconstructs the layers within the song by visually notating each instrument, sample and effect as well as considering tempo and dynamics. The song is condensed down to 4 bars per stave and colour saturation reflects the dynamics in the song. This was broken down and notated by ear.
